Our Evolution
The name G3 represents the evolution to the third generation of technology and distinguishes the organization that has evolved to meet these challenges. We began in 1969 as an electronics company formed by a professor and two of his brightest students. Eventually our clients’ needs demanded that we become the leading experts in the telecommunications industry. Our success and reputation resulted in being the first company Expanets purchased as they worked to build a dominant national leader. G3 was formed as a direct result of both Avaya purchasing Expanets and the original leadership team’s desire to be an independent, entrepreneurial organization. Those experiences and our successes have confirmed our belief in a business model that is as client-centered as it is technology focused.
Constant Change
Our evolution from electronics, to telecommunications, to the redefining of the words “Business Communications” has sharpened our skills and enriched our practices. We have our own experience with change and what it can do to an organization; this is one of the reasons that change management is such an important part of our designs and deployments. We believe it is our responsibility to help our clients transition from what systems they need today to conduct business and what they will need to do tomorrow to continue to meet their objectives.

Employees & Leadership
Our staff includes Engineers, Programmers, Designers, Business Analysts, Escalation Technicians, Account Executives and Customer Advocates that collectively hold over 420 certifications from leading solutions providers. G3 is a privately owned organization. The principal owners include Pete DiPaola, President; Raymond Hoffman, Vice President/Chief Operating Officer; and Jim Heckman, Chief Financial Officer. These three individuals have been working together as members of the management team since 1986.
