Capturing Opportunities through Communication
An Educational Seminar on How to Navigate the Confusing World of Technology
- Answering 5 of the Most Pressing Questions For Your Business.

Technology today is in a state of mass chaos and enormous confusion.
Every day there seems to be a new innovation that threatens to make something obsolete. And because of all this, you might be left with a lot of questions--of not knowing who to turn to who can give you unbiased, objective wisdom on how to use technology to grow your business.
Around our offices, we’ve given a name to all of this confusion in the market: Technology Disorder.

Date & Time:
July 23, 2008
8:30-12:00

Location:
The Great American Ballpark - Cincinnati, OH

(free admission to the Reds' game following the event)

A Silver Lining

Despite all of those negatives, if harnessed and leveraged in the right way, technology can solve business problems, open doors to new opportunities, and create residual economic benefits (increased revenue, cost savings, better internal communications). Essentially, embracing technology “strategically” can radically improve your business.

So as a service to our Cincinnati clients, we’re bringing in three subject matter experts for a limited-seating seminar on technology and your business.

At the seminar, we’ll help you answer these five questions for your organization:

“What role should technology play in my business?” Most people get this all wrong (as far as we’re concerned). You must think of technology as a strategy for growth, not just an operational tool. At the seminar, we’ll educate you on the mind shift necessary to reap big rewards from technology.

“How do I make logical sense of all the options available?” Amidst the confusion, there are solutions. Our belief is that the Secret to Clarity is Assessment. If you jump too quickly to the solution--without identifying the business problem you want to solve, then you’ll be just like thousands of other companies--who waste vast resources on a solution that undershoots the target. Logical sense comes from a deep understanding of your business goals--and guidance on how those goals can be achieved. We’ll outline a process you can use internally to begin this. And we’ll help you see where the 800-pound gorilla (Microsoft) will play in specific applications.

“What market advantages can technology help me exploit?” Every business is competitive and every available strategy must be used to attract and maintain clients. Many firms use technology to do just that--either through cost reduction or through increased customer satisfaction.

“How do I use technology to reduce costs?” There is no one answer to this. Every company has many areas of leverage. Two of the most dramatic impact areas are “network convergence” and “VoIP.” We’ll devote a lot of time to these areas.

“How do I connect the dots and make the most of my business applications?” This is a good question. Yet the answer lies in another question: What is your ultimate objective? Once you answer that, options and solutions become more obvious.

The Bottom Line: Technology should be an enabler in your business. It opens doors, it facilitates growth—it generates revenue--and it can give you enormous market advantages – but not if you don’t look at it in the right way.
